Fulian Precision Electronics (Tianjin) Co., Ltd, Tianjin, China, has been assigned a patent (12314147) developed by Yuan; Jie, Tianjin, China, for “hard disk pluggable method and system, and server.“
The abstract of the patent published by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office states: “Disclosed in the present invention are a hard disk pluggable method, a hard disk pluggable system, and a server. The hard disk pluggable includes determining whether the hard disk rack is in a first preset state and the hard disk rack is in a second preset state; controlling the execution unit to perform a second hot plug operation on the first hard disks of the hard disk rack and a second plug operation on the second hard disks of the spare hard disk rack based on the first record file and the second record file to restore the hard disk rack to the first preset state and the spare hard disk rack to the second preset state if the hard disk rack is not in the first preset state and/or the spare hard disk rack is not in the second preset state.”

Setting boot disk of HBA card, apparatus, and computer readable storage medium applying method
Fulian Precision Electronics (Tianjin) Co., Ltd, Tianjin, China, has been assigned a patent (12242611) developed by Zhu; Jian-Hua, and Yuan; Jie, Tianjin, China, for “method for setting boot disk of HBA card, apparatus, and computer readable storage medium applying the method.“
The abstract of the patent published by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office states: “A method for setting a boot disk of a HBA card comprises acquires a physical layer port number corresponding to a slot of a target hard disk. A first identifier for the physical layer port number in a BIOS configuration page in the HBA card is configured. A second identifier for the target hard disk in the BIOS configuration page is configured. The second identifier is written into boot device items of the BIOS configuration page for fixing the target hard disk as a boot disk of the HBA card. The HBA card fails to identify other hard disk as the boot disk under any conditions. Drive letters of the HBA card and the rule of distributing the drive letters are unchanged, and a stability of a system is maintained. An apparatus and a computer readable storage medium applying the method are also disclosed.”

Air-cooled carrier for storage modules with compensated airflow to maintain cooling of mounted components
Fulian Precision Electronics (Tianjin) Co., Ltd, Tianjin, China, has been assigned a patent (12200896) developed by Wang; Pao-Ching, and Lin; Ke-Cheng, New Taipei, Taiwan, for “air-cooled carrier for storage modules with compensated airflow to maintain cooling of mounted components.“
The abstract of the patent published by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office states: “An air-cooled carrier of heat-generating electronic components includes a frame, a plate, and baffles. The plate coupled to the frame divides airflow in the frame into two channels. Opposite sides of each channel along a first direction carry inlet and outlet. A pair of baffles is coupled to each channel, each baffle comprises a mounting part, an arc-shaped elastic part, and a blocking part. The mounting part is fixed to the frame and the arc-shaped elastic part. The blocking part is fixed to the arc-shaped elastic part and extends to middle of the airflow cavity in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. In the absence of a mounted storage component, the elastic part bringing the blocking part to a first position and so blocking air flow from that outlet to that inlet.”
