This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on May 15, 2025 at 10:29 amATP Electronics, Inc. participates in one of the largest gatherings of technology titans that are poised to transform global industries with AI at Computex Taipei, (booth I1225a), in Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center,Taiwan, from May 20 to 23, 2025.
Featured extreme solutions for the ‘AI Next generation’ include the 7.2 mm e.MMC in a world’s smallest package; industrial SSDs with record-breaking, highest-endurance ratings; and, industrial enterprise storage optimized for the toughest edge AI demands.
The company also marks a milestone with the upcoming opening of its new smart manufacturing facility in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, underscoring the firm’s commitment to eco-sustainability by using technology to reduce environmental impact.
Extreme Space and Power Efficiency for Huge AI Workloads: 7.2 mm e.MMC in ta Smallest Package
AI applications constantly generate, aggregate, and analyze data. These require robust and reliable yet compact storage, especially for space-constrained and battery-operated embedded systems. With dimensions of 7.2×7.2mm, the E600Vc Series e.MMC redefines space and power efficiency for prolonged use and maximum savings. The tiny footprint is 65% smaller compared to the standard dimensions of 11.5×13 mm, allowing more components to be installed in portable devices, such as smart wearables, medical apparatuses, robotics, and other IoT appliances.
Built with the company’s in-house hardware expertise and firmware tuning capability, the E600Vc can operate in Auto-Power Saving and Power Optimization modes to reduce power consumption by up to 70% in smart wearables and extend the battery life of host devices.
Extreme Endurance for Demanding AI Workloads: 100K+ pSLC, 11K TLC P/E Cycles
High computational AI workloads can significantly impact not only the storage media’s performance but also their lifespan.
The company’s solutions are offered in diverse form factors that use the latest high speed as well as time-tested interfaces to deliver the most suitable storage configurations to meet application-specific demands and ensure the highest levels of long-term reliability and data integrity.
Available in the highest-endurance with enhanced P/E cycling ratings, these groundbreaking solutions are unparalleled in the industry, combining ATP’s exceptional strengths — from the use of prime NAND package, stringent NAND IC characterization and 100% NAND screening and validation capabilities, to ATP’s own-developed firmware, specialized hardware configurations, and technologies.
N75Pi, A750Pi, S750Pi Series in pSLC Configuration
These SSDs and memory cards built with pseudo Single Level Cell (pSLC) offer over 100,000 P/E cycles endurance, which can be further increased to 150K P/E cycles (50% enhancement) depending on the customer’s request, model and configuration. This enhancement translates to a 75 Drive Writes Per Day (DWPD) for sequential write workloads and 21 DWPD for JESD219A enterprise workloads
N651Si/Sc, A650Si/Sc, S650Si/Sc Series in Native TLC
These storage solutions in native Triple Level Cell (TLC) offer up to 11,000 P/E cycles endurance, which is the highest for any NAND flash storage configured with native TLC, translating to a drive-level endurance of 1 DWPD with default 7% overprovisioning (OP).
The firm’s highest-endurance storage solutions sustain data integrity over extended periods of time even when exposed to harsh environments and extreme temperatures, thanks to the 125°C wide temp operating range (may vary by product) and robust cross-temperature error handling.
Extreme Edge AI: Best of Both Worlds, Built for Uncontrolled Edge
More AI workloads rely on local edge devices to facilitate real-time data processing, analysis, and storage. This speeds up data access and response time, as it keeps data closer to the source and cuts down the distance that data must travel.
ATP’s Industrial Enterprise N651Sie Series SSDs handle enterprise-level workloads with industrial grade resilience. This product class offers the best combination of features and technologies to deliver unparalleled storage in uncontrolled environments.
They leverage the high-speed NVMe PCIe Gen4x 4 interface and are available as M.2, U.2, and E1.S. They are as boot drives, data storage drives, or mixed-use drives.
Extreme Eco-Sustainability: ATP ESG-Centric Facility Opens in 2H 2025
As a true manufacturer, the company is committed to upholding Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards, putting great importance on policies that impact the environment and sustainability.
The firm’s new ESG-centric smart facility at Ciaotou Science Park in Kaohsiung, Taiwan will be operational in the 2nd half of the year and is targeted to become a LEED-certified green building. LEED stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design. It is the world’s most widely used rating system for green buildings.
Manufacturing processes and finished products from the smart factory will use state-of-the art technologies and eco-friendly practices to ensure the use of renewable energy, reduction of waste, and other initiatives that will reduce environmental impact.
