Leostream at Scale Computing’s Event Platform//2025

Leostream Corporation announced it will showcase the Leostream Remote Desktop Access Platform at Platform//2025, Booth B2, Scale Computing‘s event for IT professionals and partners and aims to capture the spirit of inclusion with its tagline – Lets innovate and transform together — held May 13-15 at Resorts World in Las Vegas, NV.

The 3-day event will feature live and on-demand sessions and offer exciting networking opportunities, educational and best practices sessions, an awards ceremony, a closing reception, and much more. This year the themes for Platform//2025 sessions include virtualization and hybrid cloud computing, edge computing, and IoT, cybersecurity and data privacy, storage, networking and 5G, sustainable and green computing, and partners building a business with Scale Computing.

This year, Platform//2025 will also offer 2 on-site certification courses before the event: SC//Platform Beginner Certification and SC//Platform Expert Certification. Both courses include hands-on learning, enabling participants to follow along with the instructor and apply newly learned skills within the platform.

Leostream provides Scale Computing customers a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solution that is streamlined, simple to deploy, and simple to manage. Leostream’s solution is integrated with Scale Computing Platform (SC//Platform) that offers servers, storage, and virtualization in a single appliance for a complete ‘datacenter in a box.’ SC//Platform is designed to be user-friendly, making VDI accessible to users that may have previously found VDI implementations complex and expensive.

The Leostream Remote Desktop Access Platform installs onto a Linux VM within the Scale Computing environment. Once deployed, it offers users access to virtual desktops using various display protocols, including in-browser HTML5 RDP, VNC, and SSH, from a wide range of client devices such as thin clients, Chromebooks, and tablets. This integration supports both Windows and Linux desktops, enabling organizations to manage diverse operating systems.

Administrators can leverage Leostream to provision pools of desktops from a single master image within the Scale Computing environment. The platform allows for the configuration of policies to manage various business use cases, including persistent or non-persistent desktops, shared or personal desktops, and more. Additionally, the Leostream Platform integrates with multi-factor authentication providers like Okta and Duo, enhancing security by ensuring that sensitive data does not reside on end-user devices.
