History 2005: Abhi Talwalkar, 41, President and CEO, LSI Logic

LSI Logic’s board of directors unanimously appointed Abhi Talwalkar, 41, as president and CEO, replacing Wilfred Corrigan, who founded the company in 1981, and will remain on as chairman.

Talwalkar joins LSI from Intel, where he served as president and co-GM of the digital enterprise group, which included business client, server, storage and communications businesses.
