JSR Deploys Cohesity on AWS

Cohesity, Inc. announced that JSR Corporation, a manufacturer of synthetic polymer materials, turned to Cohesity for cyber resilience and improved data management.

JSR Corporation is a $4 billion parent company of JSR Micro, Crown Biosciences, KBI Biopharma, and other subsidiaries, with 47 sites across the globe and over 7,500 employees.

Unwilling to be vulnerable, JSR Corporation deployed Cohesity DataProtect to modernize how it protects its IT estate from bad actors, and to meet compliance requirements. It required a data recovery and backup solution for its on-premises and AWS environments to protect vs. ransomware. With Cohesity DataProtect, it can backup its entire data estate on AWS, thereby reducing ransomware risk and ensuring a DR plan.

With data in multiple countries, locations and subsidiaries, AI capabilities from Cohesity will also help unlock data from the current silos to provide business insights and accelerate knowledge at JSR. Cohesity Gaia will enable JSR employees to search across all our enterprise data, whether in files, SharePoint, or OneDrive to foster greater innovation for the business.

We want to be able to use generative AI to quickly discover if work done at one location might apply to other projects.
