By Japanese company NHJ
By Jean Jacques Maleval | August 15, 2024 at 2:01 pmJapanese company NHJ has launched a digital video camera, the D’zign DV-5, with an embedded one-inch 2GB HDD drive from Cornice.

It allows the new device to record more than 3 hours of digital video while maintaining 90mn of battery life.
It can also be used as a still camera or an MP3 player.
This D’zign DV-5 is expected to be on store shelves in Japan and the United States by June of this year at a retail price of $499.
According to an Asian source, this camera is manufactured by Kinpo Electronics in Taiwan. Cameras that integrate HDDs already existed, such as the Everio GZMC200 and GZMC100 from JVC, but at 2x the price and with a 4GB drive that wasn’t embedded, but rather connected tthrough a removable vCFII slot.
