KHIPU Networks and Assured Data Protection Partner

Assured Data Protection Ltd and KHIPU Networks Ltd, a cyber-security and network infrastructure provider, announced a partnership to provide enterprise grade backup and DR solutions to SMBs customers at an affordable price.

Through the partnership, KHIPU Networks is able to offer Rubrik’s edge data protection platform as a managed service through Assured’s 2nd site data replication infrastructure.

This partnership will strengthen KHIPU Networks’ already compelling offer to medium sized enterprises and public sector organisations across the UK and South Africa in sectors including education, retail, warehousing, transport, logistics, sports and entertainment venues, and others.

Until now, true immutable backup and DR solutions, which can only be guaranteed through data replication at a 2nd site, has been prohibitively expensive for many organisations. The managed services partnership with Assured changes that helping to protect customers’ business networks whilst reducing their cyber risk.

Assured, which was founded in the UK, is the largest Rubrik MSP, servicing the US and other international markets, focusing on providing data management, backup, DR, and BC solutions. It works directly with customers, MSPs and resellers to ensure that businesses can protect and recover their critical data and operations in the event of outages, natural disasters, ransomware, and cyber-attacks, which continue to be a major threat to organisations of all sizes. Customers receive a fully managed Rubrik service from design and implementation through to recovery and daily proactive support.

Among the numerous benefits of the partnership for customers is that Rubrik’s security cloud offering integrates with Palo Alto Networks’ XR platform – a key solution in KHIPU ‘s portfolio. This provides customers with an end-to-end security architecture that gives the highest levels of confidence in DR and data protection.

An early pilot project that became the foundation for the partnership between Assured and KHIPU Networks is already delivering benefits for Bridgend College, a further education college in Wales. As a cost-conscious academic institution operating with a limited IT budget, Bridgend College knew their cyber-resiliency would be greatly enhanced with second site replication and DR but that it would be prohibitively expensive. Working together, Assured and KHIPU Networks implemented a managed service solution that is providing the highest standard of ransomware protection to the college.
