History 2005: Incredible Roadmap of GS Magic on HDD for 4Q06

Chinese start-up GS Magic Inc. is also known by the name GS Magicstor, the company that manufactures its one-inch HDD drives and by GS Magicdrive, which makes 1.8-inch units with all 3 entities part of the same corporate group.

The Asian group started out in one-inch device at 2.4GB in 2003, adding 1.8-inch HDDs the following year. In the table, right, is the most recent roadmap which goes up to 120GB 1.8-inch, drives, 12GB one-inch models and 9GB 0.85-inch devices only 3.3mm thick, with even a 4.5GB only 2.2mm thick planned by the end of 2006.
