History 2004: Rick Wojcik CEO, Atempo

French software firm Atempo is adding a few more non-French nationals to its executive management team, under a new CEO for the entire company, Rick Wojcik, replacing Therry Flajoliet, who’d held the position since 2000, but was recently removed by the board for “loss of confidence.”

Wojcik had been a board member of the company since early 2003, after spending 16 years at EMC, most notably as VP EMEA and AsiaPac.

Additionally, another EMC executive who was in charge of EMEA, Bas Broekarts, has been appointed VP of global sales.

And the new CFO is Mark Williams, previously with UK software firm Sherwood International.
