History 2004: Steve Luczo Will Cede Role as CEO of Seagate

Steve Luczo will stay on as chairman of Seagate, but will cede his role as CEO in early July to the current president and COO, Bill Watkins, who has been gradually playing a greater role in the company’s management.

Dave Wickersham, currently executive VP of global storage operations, will assume the added duties of COO.
