Pliops Previews New-Gen of Data Processor and XDP-AccelDB for MongoDB Applications
Driving 10x performance and TCO improvements to MongoDB deployments
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on December 11, 2023 at 2:01 pmPliops Ltd. was at the Gartner IT Infrastructure, Operations and Cloud Strategies Conference to preview its new-gen Extreme Data Processor (XDP).
In addition to broad-spectrum workload acceleration, it was also showcasing the fastest MongoDB solution available.
Making its debut in 2021, the company’s XDP has set a new benchmark for data center scaling and efficiency. Providing new levels of processing power and storage scalability for relational, NoSQL and in-memory databases, analytics, AI/ML, 5G, IoT, and other data-intensive applications and platforms, the XDP has changed the landscape for what is possible. At the Gartner conference, attendees were able to preview the new-gen of XDP, which doubles the performance and capacity of its predecessor.
“Our cutting-edge technology illuminates the path for businesses to conquer obstacles presented by sustainability, performance and scalability in today’s dynamic landscape,” said Ido Bukspan, CEO. “We are dedicated to shaping the future of data infrastructure optimization and workload acceleration, and ensuring that data centers have all of the tools needed to succeed in the AI era.”
Running on the XDP, the fim’s portfolio of XDP Data Services maximizes data center infrastructure investments by exponentially increasing application performance, storage reliability and capacity, as well as overall stack efficiency. At the Gartner conference, the company highlighted its database accelerator for SQL applications, XDP-AccelDB, providing a 10x performance improvement to MongoDB applications, improving TCO by up to 95%.
Pliops addresses following for Mongo DBAs and IT administrators:
- Capacity optimization at the node and cluster levels
- MongoDB infrastructure design that meets application and performance requirements
- Efficiently meeting availability and recoverability SLAs
- Optimizing overall database operations – including backup and recovery and data loading
- Economically scaling the MongoDB footprint
Also at the conference, the company delivered a presentation with Lenovo detailing how the 2 companies are working together to empower organizations to successfully deal with IT infrastructure challenges for storing, processing and making sense of vast amounts of data. Titled, The Role of Acceleration for Databases and AI/Gen AI Technologies, this session took place Tuesday, December 5.
XDP for MongoDB applications will be available in 1Q24 for POC.
