50% Revenue Growth from 3Q22 to 3Q23 in EMEA for Nakivo

As company continues to accelerate in backup and DR market for physical, virtual, cloud, and SaaS environments.

Nakivo Inc. announced its 3Q23 financial results.

In 3Q23, company achieved following: 

  • Revenue: Grew its revenue in the EMEA region by 50% in 3Q23 in comparison to Q3 2022. In 3Q23, 61% of the total revenue came from the EMEA region, 30% from the Americas, and 9% from the AsiaPac The countries delivering the highest revenue growth in 3Q23 were South Africa, Estonia, and France. Nakivo’s revenue grew more than 100% Q/Q in Bulgaria, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Estonia, France, Georgia, Hungary, Indonesia, Kuwait, Latvia, Mauritius, Montenegro, Peru, South Africa, Sri Lanka, UK, and others.
  • Customers: Presently, the company has over 27,000 paid customers in 180 countries. The customer base grew by 13% in 3Q23 over 3Q22. The number of new customers grew by 13% in the EMEA region, by 15% in the AsiaPac region, and by 11% in the Americas. Enterprises continue to choose firm’s Backup & Replication as their preferred data protection solution, with new deployments growing by 28% in 3Q23 over 3Q22. A sample of customers in 3Q23 includes Southwest Medical Center, Mayor’s office of Villejuif, Eiffage Group, Jovia Financial Credit Union, and others. Examples of customer success stories in 3Q23 include: Dorelan, Radio Maria, and Camel Tire.
  • Technology Partners: In 3Q23, the vendor successfully delivered its solutions via technology partners, as more enterprises and SMBs chose to install Backup & Replication on partner hardware. Particularly, Asustor NAS installations grew by 16% in 3Q23 vs. 3Q22.
  • Solution Partners: Currently, the software company has over 8,000 software solution providers as partners across the Americas, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and the AsiaPac In 3Q23, 175 new solution providers joined the firm’s Partner Program and offer products to their enterprise and SMB customers. For the first time, it gained partners from Botswana.
  • MSPs: MSP Program enables managed service, cloud, and hosting providers to deliver BaaS, VM  RaaS, and VM DRaaS to their clients. In 3Q23, the number of MSPs grew by 29% vs. 3Q22. For the first time, the company gained MSP partners in Azerbaijan, Fiji, and Pakistan.

We managed to achieve quite impressive results in terms of revenue growth in the EMEA region for 3Q23, and this was due to our business development team working closely with partners on developing new business,” said CEO Bruce Talley. “In 3Q23, we amplified the functionality of Backup & Replication with bare-metal recovery, direct recovery from tape, and backup malware scan. The recent improvements will improve recovery and anti-ransomware capabilities of our solution and help organizations protect their data more efficiently.
