Toshiba: Fiscal 2Q23 Financial Results

Toshiba Corp. reported financial results for 2FQ23.

For only its business in HDDs, materials and devices, and resale of memory products, etc., the company recorded revenue of ¥146.5 billion in 1FH23 compared to ¥190.5 billion in 1FH22, or a 44% decrease, due to shrinkage in mobile and desktop markets as well as restrained investment in the nearline HDD market.

For 2FQ23, the figure is ¥82.8 billion, down 17.9% from 2FQ22.
