With 10 disks delivering 2.4TB each, the Exos X24 is the company’s highest density HDDe, offering industry TCO for hyperscale customers and enterprises with scale-out data centers.

The conventional magnetic recording (CMR)-based 24TB Exos X24 delivers capacity, high performance, and enterprise-class reliability. The company also continues to offer limited cloud customers the flexibility of a shingled magnetic recording (SMR) Exos X24 configuration at capacities of up to 28TB.

Designed for maximum storage capacity and the highest rack-space efficiency, Exos X24 is purpose-built for hyperscale with performance and proven technology. The helium 3.5-inch 7,200rpm nearline drive offers both SATA and SAS interfaces and delivers enhanced caching that performs up to 3x better than solutions that only utilize read or write caching.
