Nakivo Showcases Enhanced Anti Ransomware Backup At Vmware Explore 2023

The event is billed as the centre of the multi-cloud universe, showcasing the latest innovations, technologies, and solutions to unlock the potential of the multi-cloud landscape. The annual VMware conference never disappoints, and Nakivo will have a strong presence there.

At this year’s VMware Explore, the Nakivo team is going to showcase the latest features and capabilities of Backup & Replication v10.9 at The Venetian Convention and Expo Centre in Las Vegas, NV.

The 10.9 release has added several features and improvements to the solution that further improve the recovery and anti-ransomware capabilities of the solution, including:

  • Bare-metal recovery to restore physical servers from backups to the same or identical hardware.
  • Direct Recovery from Tape to recover VMs and EC2 instances directly from tape backups.
  • Backup Malware Scan before recovery.
  • Support for new platforms, among which is the latest vSphere 8.0 U1
  • In addition to many more capabilities

Backup & Replication v10.10 Beta is currently in the beta testing phase with a new functionality – real-time replication for VMware.

Real-time replication is designed to provide CDP by replicating VMware VMs in real time. Any changes to the source VMs will be automatically replicated to the target VMs with an update rate as low as 1s ensuring near-zero minimal data loss in disaster situations.

The Nakivo team welcomes all attendees to visit its booth for a hands-on demo, face time with experts for solution insights and guidance and potential collaboration opportunities.

We are excited to be attending the largest virtualisation event in the world this year and we are eager to showcase our remarkable accomplishments to a wide audience,” said Bruce Talley, CEO. “The latest v10.9 offers a whole new range of possibilities to help protect businesses from data loss and ensure recovery no matter what environments they use.

Nakivo, the winner of the Best of VMworld 2018 Gold Award and the finalist in the 2020 Resilience and Recovery category, has already submitted an official entry in the 2023 TechTarget’s Best of VMware Explore Awards, aiming to achieve further recognition.
