History 2002: DataPlay Finally Closed Doors

After reducing workforce by half

After reducing its workforce by half, roughly 120 people, DataPlay has finally closed its doors, still hoping nonetheless to find new investors, since it currently needs several tens of millions of dollars to promote the launch of its new tiny optical discs and drives.

Otherwise, the company will have no choice but to find a buyer for its optical technology.
