Siva Sivaram to Leave WD

Siva Sivaram, president of technology and strategy, will be leaving Western Digital to pursue a leadership opportunity in a different technology domain as president of QuantumScape Corp., developer of industry’’s first anode-less cell design, which delivers high energy density while lowering material costs and simplifying manufacturing, with innovative battery cell technology can store energy more efficiently and reliably than today’s lithium-ion batteries.

He has made significant contributions to Western Digital and before that at SanDisk as EVP of memory technology over the past 10 years.
