He is a well-known technology evangelist, innovator, and product visionary with more than 2 decades of experience in storage, infrastructure, and vertical markets within the M&E sector.
In his new role, he will be responsible for product innovation, engineering, and customer support efforts as Perifery ramps up for accelerated growth.
Based in Wales, Morgan will report to GM Abhijit Dey.
“Jonathan’s thought leadership, decades of product development expertise, and strong alliances with technology partners will be invaluable as we continue innovating and growing our product family,” said Dey. “He has an impressive track record of successfully bringing new products to market, including pioneering the object storage solution MatrixStore. We’re excited for Jonathan to bring his expertise in edge, container storage, and object storage products to Perifery.”
Morgan is charged with aligning Perifery’s engineering roadmap with the company’s product vision and strategy. He will also ensure that the firm’s appliance is successfully delivered across core and edge markets, working with product management and the company’s partners and integrators globally.
He is the co-founder and former CEO of object storage pioneer Object Matrix. Prior that, he was a consultant at EMC, Ubiquity, and Accenture.
