History 2002: Kevin Daly Left Quantum Where He Was CTO

Kevin Daly, 57, has left Quantum, where he was CTO of the storage solutions group, in order to join storage software Avamar Technologies, as chairman and CEO, replacing CEO Stephen Hansen.

Daly previously worked at Odetics and ATL Products. He informed us last year of his desire to release tape libraries, a field in which he has been active since 1983.
