Availability of SANBlaze SBExpress-DT5 PCIe 5.0 NVMe SSD Validation Test System

SANBlaze Technology Inc. announced availability of its SBExpress-DT5, a complete turnkey PCIe 5.0 NVMe SSD validation test system.

The SBExpress-DT5 system works in conjunction with the company’s Certified by SANBlaze Test Suite, bringing enterprise NVMe validation to the developer’s desktop. The system is self-contained, quiet, and portable, or a work-from-home environment or traveling to customer sites.

The 6th gen SBExpress-DT5 is both evolutionary, growing from a family of widely deployed predecessors, and innovative, with advanced test capabilities, including Vendor Defined Messaging (VDM) testing support for NVMe-MI over PCIe, and both in-band and SMBus test capabilities. All features of the Certified by SANBlaze Enterprise Test Suite are completely supported at PCIe 5.0 speed. The system integrates with SerialTek’s Kodiak PCIe 5.0 protocol analysis system, providing users with test, debug, and analysis capabilities.

Riser technology
The SBExpress-DT5 employs the company’s proprietary riser technology and uses the same set of NVMe PCIe 5.0 risers as the 16-drive RM5 (rackmount) system. All the firm’s risers are capable of single- and dual-port operation and can switch on-the-fly under software control. Risers are available for all NVMe form factors at PCIe 5.0 speed.
