Raidon iR8300 Internal RAID Storage for 1x2.5/3.5-Inch SATA HDD/SSD and 2xM.2 SATA SSD

Raidon Technology, Inc. launched the iR8300 internal RAID storage solution with a form factor equivalent to a CD-ROM drive, presents an approach to storage by supporting a RAID-1 configuration involving 2xM.2 SATA SSDs.

The iR8300 houses an independent 3.5-inch bay suitable for either 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch SATA HDD or SSD, which serves as a dedicated space for data backup.

It enables users to adjust the RAID settings through the front panel, simplifying the configuration process. With the front panel switch, users can effortlessly choose from four modes – RAID-1/0, JBOD, or SPAN (BIG) – depending on their application needs. It also can be utilized alongside the company’s StatusGuard Manager monitoring software within the Windows OS, this visually appealing GUI enables users to promptly grasp the condition of RAID modules and hard drives, as well as manage and monitor the performance of the iR8300.

The iR8300’s hard disk tray design allows for locking of HDDs or SSDs, providing users with the convenience of hot-swapping drives when the system is powered on, making disk or SSD replacement a breeze. Besides, each iR8300 hard disk tray is equipped with a key lock design that securely fastens the entire tray to the device according to actual usage requirements, preventing it from being removed and improving data security. Also, the i8300’s 2.5-inch HDD tray includes an M.2 SATA converter, making it convenient for users to install M.2 SATA SSDs. If the need arises to use a 2.5-inch SATA HDD or SSD, simply remove the M.2 SATA converter after unloading, and then you can install a standard 2.5-inch SATA hard disk or SSD (with a height of up to 9.5mm).

The iR8300 is equipped with a 4cm silent fan that delivers continuous airflow, dissipating the heat produced by the M.2 SSD and HDD. Also, it features a separate LED display for each M.2 SSD or HDD, presenting data access status or the condition of the M.2 SSD or HDD concisely. This allows users to stay informed about the overall status of the iR8300 at any time.
