Wilfried Beckmann will stay on as managing director of the Bingen, Germany-based company.

Founded in 1994, NSM Storage, formerly NSM Jukebox, was a subsidiary of NSM AG and was subsequently acquired by PSi in 1999.

It’s one of the largest CD/DVD jukebox manufacturers in the world, claiming 90,000 units intalled WW while DISC is specialized in large 5.25-inch MO automation products.

The 2 companies had already initiated warmer relations, with each selling the other’s products on its own continent.

It remains to be seen whether the early engagement, which ended in a quick marriage, will enable DISC to have children, that is to say, to encourage growth worthy of the name, and above all to finally achieve some profit.
