Xinnor ltd announced that Davide Villa has joined the company as CRO.
He is a veteran in the storage and flash industries, bringing more than 2 decades of experience.
Most recently, he served as director of business development in the EMEAI region at Western Digital. In his 9 years at HGST/WD, he led the enterprise business in the region, significantly developing the customer portfolio and business for enterprise SSD, HDD and platforms.
He has been a pioneer in the flash industry. In the early days of the flash boom, he managed business development for the NAND flash division at STMicroelectronics and later on, he had multiple roles at sTec, including VP EMEA sales, when the company introduced the first enterprise SSD to the market.
“I’m excited to join Xinnor“, he said. “Thanks to its superior performance, more and more companies are adopting NVMe SSD and NVMeoF to store their critical data. Alternative RAID offerings were not designed to cope with flash speed. On the contrary, Xinnor developed from the ground up an elegant RAID engine that enables enterprise to use NVMe storage at its full potential, without any compromise on data integrity.”
“Xinnor’s xiRAID relies on the finest mathematical research, unique algorithms of data protection and in-depth knowledge of modern OS and CPU operation to drive optimal performance and minimize system memory and CPU footprint,” added Dmitry Livshits, Xinnor, “and with Davide’s market expertise, we have ambitious plans to become the de-facto standard for data integrity in mission critical environments, HPC and disaggregated infrastructures.“
