Summary
Multiple NetApp products incorporate InsydeH20. Certain InsydeH20 versions are susceptible to a vulnerability in SMM (System Management Mode) branch that registers a SWSMI handler that does not sufficiently check or validate the allocated buffer pointer(CommBuffer) and could lead to memory corruption in SMRAM or arbitrary code execution.

Impact
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to disclosure of sensitive information, addition or modification of data, or Denial of Service (DoS).
