Acronis Introduces Team and 2023 Plans for Benelux

Acronis International GmbH announced the new team that will focus on scaling partnerships and growing the MSPs’ portfolio.

To support its growth plans for the region, Rony Moyal, sales manager with focus on Israel and OEM sales director, will lead the new Benelux team. He is based out in the US and has been working with Acronis for 4 years. He brings more than 18 years of experience in developing, marketing, and innovating cloud solutions for telcos, tech distributors, and service providers with focus on growth. He has a solid career in sales, with experience in sales and business development for cyber-security, virtualization, service and billing automation, cloud monetization and digital transformation, among other technologies.

“Acronis is looking to focus its efforts in 2023/24 on high-potential regions with a less-than-optimal penetration rate. We believe that the Benelux region has endless potential, and Acronis, as a leading Cyber-Security provider, can do more with our partners in the region. In the next 2 years, Acronis is looking to double and even triple its market share in Benelux, while already invested in a local and dedicated sales team, Region-Tailored marketing activities, and an upcoming Local DC for the region,” he says.

Continuing with the building of a new team focused specifically in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg, Richard Weyts was promoted to distribution account manager. Following the recent updates on the changes with the global sales team, Acronis has carefully looked at the new structure of the organization to ensure it is aligned to meet business objectives. Weyts has previously worked in sales in retail and data management and accepted the role of distributor account manager to support the growth of the business within the Benelux region.

To complete the starred team, Niels Kuenen was hired as senior strategic partner manager. He made his career in sales, pre-sales, sales management and B2B. He is a business development professional with a focus on digital transformation, security, IT projects/processes and supply chain questions. With more than 12 years of experience in the channel, he defines himself as a cybersecurity enthusiast, and will be working to expand Acronis’ partners’ portfolio in all 3 Benelux countries.
