History 2001: Calisi Overland CEO
Replacing McClendon now COB
By Jean Jacques Maleval | January 25, 2023 at 2:00 pmCEO Christopher Calisi, 41, has been named president and CEO of Overland Data, succeeding Scott McClendon, who rises to the newly-created position of COB.
He comes from the software industry, which gives a good indication of the direction in which the library manufacturer is headed. He was most recently CEO of Internet development tools company eHeld, after holding executive positions at Symantec, Unify and Computer Associates.
McClendon had served as president and CEO since joining Overland in October 1991.
