History 2001: Howard Elias Replaced by Mark Lewis

At Compaq computer enterprise storage group

Mark Lewis succeeded Howard Elias as VP and GM of Compaq Computer’s enterprise storage group.

 

 

 

He was formerly VP of the firm’s enterprise storage software business group. He arrived at Compaq in 1998 after holding management positions in the storage business unit of Digital Equipment, and even holds 8 patents in various areas of storage technology.

 

Howard Elias, meanwhile, after 2 years at the head of the Compaq’s storage group, was promoted to SVP and GM of the company’s business critical server group.
