Avinash Lakshman Left Commvault

Avinash Lakshman has left Commvault Systems, Inc. where he spent 3 years and 2 months according to his LinkedIn page following the acquisition in autumn 2019 of Hedvig, a SDS company he co-founded in May 2012.

He was CEO of Hedvig, then chief storage strategist at Commvault. Remember his work at Facebook and Amazon around respectively Cassandra and Dynamo. We’ll see where he will land or if he’ll start a new venture.

His brother Srinivas Lakshman is still at Commvault as head of R&D.
