History 2000: David Wright President and CEO, Legato
Replacing Louis Cole
By Jean Jacques Maleval | November 29, 2022 at 2:00 pmHeads, even in the highest spheres, continue to roll at Legato Systems in the wake of the firm’s accounting problems.
This time, it’s the CEO and CFO who have been dumped.
Louis Cole was replaced by David Wright as president and CEO, even if Cole retains, for the moment, the position of COB.
Wright was previously president and CEO of computer manufacturer Amdahl for the past 3 years, to his credit.
Andrew Brown, the former CFO of Adaptec, has assumed the same role at Legato, replacing Stephen Wise.
This article is an abstract of news published on issue 153 on October 2000 from the former paper version of Computer Data Storage Newsletter.
Note: Wright is now managing partner at Innovative Capital Ventures.
