Revenue Up 24% in 3Q22 Over 3Q21 for Nakivo
43% coming from EMEA, 37% Americas, and 20% from AsiaPac

In 3Q22, it achieved the following:
- Revenue: It grew its revenue by 24% WW in Q3 2022 over Q3 2021. Of the total revenue, 43% came from the EMEA region, 37% from the Americas, and 20% from the AsiaPac region. The countries delivering the highest revenue growth in 3Q22 were Canada, Belgium, and Turkey. Revenue grew more than 100% Q/Q in Armenia, Barbados, Belgium, Bermuda, Canada, Colombia, Croatia, Ecuador, Gibraltar, Hungary, Lithuania, Norway, Tunisia, Turkey, Philippines, Romania, Serbia, Vietnam, and others.
- Customers: It now has over 24,000 paid customers in 174 countries. The customer base grew by 17% in 3Q22 over 3Q21. The number of new customers grew by 18% and the firm gained its first customers in French Guiana. Enterprises continue to choose Nakivo Backup & Replication as their preferred data protection solution, with new deployments growing by 13% in 3Q22 over 3Q21. New customers in 3Q22 include Taiwan Power Company, Prime Focus Technologies, American Trim, Mitel Networks Corporation, and Letko Brosseau. Some examples of customer success stories in 3Q22 include: Penn-Harris School Corporation, Zetor, and Guardian Media.
- Technology Partners: In 3Q22, the vendor delivered its solutions via technology partners, as more enterprises and SMBs chose to install Backup & Replication on partner hardware. Overall, installations on NAS OSs grew by 18% in 3Q22 vs. 3Q21. Particularly, ASUSTOR NAS installations grew by 105% in Q3 2022 over the same period last year.
- Solution Partners: Currently, the company has over 7,000 software solution providers as partners across the Americas, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and the AsiaPac region. In 3Q22, 171 new solution providers joined the firm’s Partner Program and now offer the firm gained partners from Cambodia and Suriname.
- MSPs: Company’s MSP Program enables managed service, cloud, and hosting providers to deliver backup as-a-service (BaaS), VM replication as-a-service (RaaS), and VM DR as a service (DRaaS) to their clients. In 3Q22, the number of MSPs grew by 28% vs. 3Q021. For the first time, the firm gained MSP partners in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece, and Kenya.
“Organisations don’t want to simply react to cybersecurity and other threats to data availability. They want to stay ahead and be prepared. This year, we’ve continued to improve their data protection defences to help them do just that,” said CEO Bruce Talley. “And this quarter’s financial results show that this approach to product development and our close work with customers and partners pays off. For the third consecutive quarter, Nakivo’s WW revenue and customer base have grown in the double digits.”
