Exascend Joins CompactFlash Association

Exascend, Inc., in cinematography and industrial-grade flash storage solutions, becomes an executive member of the CompactFlash Association (CFA), an international nonprofit corporation focused on creating industry standards for flash-based memory cards to support the needs of professional imaging, video and industrial markets.

“CFA welcomes Exascend as an Executive Member upgrading from its Affiliate Membership. We look forward to collaborating with Exascend in further strengthening CFA-specified products’ presence in the removable media market,” said Hiro Ino, president, CFA.

The membership upgrade will allow Exascend to collaborate further with industry mainstays such as Canon and Sony on the development, testing and marketing of CFexpress, CFast and CompactFlash cards as well as the latest specs for CFexpress 3.0, thus driving flash memory technologies forward.
