History 2000: Gudmundur Einarsson New CEO at Tandberg Data
Replacing Erik Normann
By Jean Jacques Maleval | September 28, 2022 at 2:00 pmTandberg Data has gotten in the habit of changing CEOs at the end of each fiscal exercise.
Erik Normann managed to hang onto the position for a year that was far from glorious for the Norwegian firm.
He is now succeeded by Gudmundur Einarsson, 44.
He was divisional director in Elkern, where he led the Silicon division since 1995.
Normann has been demoted to director of Tandberg’s US subsidiary, also in charge of the recently-acquired Breece Hill operation in Colorado, where the company’s US HQ, currently in California, could be relocated.
