speicherguide.de is moving its website: it-daily.net from IT Verlag will be the storage magazine’s new online home.

After cooperation at several online events, the two IT publications are now pooling their resources. With this step, speicherguide.de is bypassing a costly website modernization and will receive sales, marketing and social media support in the future.

it-daily.net and it management are gaining the editorial expertise that speicherguide.de has built up in the important IT areas of storage and backup/recovery in over 19 years.

Two long-established IT publications are pooling their resources: The storage portal speicherguide.de – Das Storage-Magazin, founded in 2003 as the first German-language online storage publication, is moving in with it-daily.net. The online presence of the speicherguide.de, 1991 founded, IT publishing house and the B2B magazine it management, will be the new home for all articles and eMagazines of speicherguide.de from July 4, 2022.

“With the team from speicherguide.de, we gain editorial expertise and occupy two of the most important topic areas in IT with storage and backup/recovery“, says Ulrich Parthier, CEO and publisher of IT Verlag. “We’ve known and appreciated each other for years, and after successfully running several online events, an even more intensive partnership should further accelerate both our growth.“

“With the move to it-daily.net, we are bypassing a lot of work that we would have had to invest in a new website and that we have honestly been putting off for some time“, explains Karl Fröhlich, editor-in-chief and publisher of speicherguide.de. “At the same time, the IT Verlag team is supporting us with sales, marketing and social media. Although we address the same target group with the players in the datacenter, we come from different subject areas. Therefore, we complement each other perfectly, which will benefit both our readers and customers.“

For over 19 years, speicherguide.de has been providing information primarily on the topics of data storage and data backup. The online magazine has published thousands of articles and gained expertise in countless discussions with vendors, experts and IT users.

“Without being affiliated with a major publishing house, we have developed an independent way of seeing and working and have become a force to be reckoned with in the storage market,” says Fröhlich. “We also retain our independence on it-daily.net and continue to write not only about the major manufacturers, but also offer our readers a wide range of interesting articles with which we primarily cover the requirements of small and medium-sized companies.”

The new partnership brings speicherguide.de up to 36,000 unique users per month and around 53,000 page impressions. it-daily.net reaches around 70,000 readers per month with 130,000 page impressions. With it management, IT Verlag is also well represented in the print business. Ten issues are published each year, each with a circulation of 10,000, plus 5 it security supplements.
