“Qnap aims to build a modern IT room with light, cost-optimized, and agile features. Utilizing VM/VNF/Container technology, a QuCPE with QNE Network software-defined platform total solution replaces dedicated network hardware and transforms traditional IT rooms into a revolutionary virtualized IT room. Small businesses and micro-enterprises can flexibly build multi-site network infrastructure by deploying a QuCPE Series 7 in their headquarters, and the affordable QuCPE Series 3 in their branches and workplaces,” said Titan Hsieh, product manager.
The QuCPE-3034 is equipped with an Atom Refresh C3758R 8-core processor, 16GB DDR4 memory, 8x2.5GbE RJ45 ports and 4x10GbE SFP+ fiber ports; the QuCPE-3032 is equipped with an Atom Refresh C3558R 4-core processor, 8GB DDR4 memory, 8x2.5GbE RJ45 ports and 2x10GbE SFP+ fiber ports. The QuCPE-303x features 2xM.2 SSD slots for high-bandwidth VM/VNF and multi-tasking business applications. Intel QAT, Smart NIC SR-IOV and DPDK hardware network acceleration technologies also enhances bandwidth and computing performance for virtualization, or SD-WAN and VPN transmission efficiency.
The QuCPE-303x uses the QNE Network OS for VNF, VM and Containers. IT staff can finish virtual network infrastructure deployment within 5mn by using Network Service Composer featuring service chaining and visualized topology. The QNE Network OS incorporates QuWAN SD-WAN and AMIZ Cloud solution to help IT staff not only establish encrypted multi-site Mesh VPN, but also to optimize transmission bandwidth via the cloud, thus realizing remote deployment and management of multi-site edge devices, hosted VM, and containerized applications.

The company’s QuTScloud is a virtual appliance based on the firm’s QTS NAS OS and can run as Virtual NAS by installing on the QuCPE-303x. With HybridMount, the QuCPE-303x can mount cloud storage on Virtual NAS and connect to other company’sp NAS with more storage space for storing virtual service data. The QuCPE-303x also provides an advanced Security Center and military-grade anti-tampering for secure virtual system and network operations.
