Running the ZFS-based QuTS hero OS, the TS-h1090FU prioritizes data integrity and protection with self-healing storage, near-limitless snapshots, and versioning. Data reduction significantly reduces the overall storage footprint – especially helpful for increasing SSD storage efficiency when highly-repetitive data or massive small files are generated. Additional SSD-optimizing features include Write Coalescing, TRIM, and Pool Over-provisioning to assist in attaining high performance and lifespan from SSD investments. The company’s QSAL (Qnap SSD Antiwear Leveling) technology helps prevent simultaneous SSD failure, improving data protection and system reliability.
