New York Islanders Hockey Team Chooses Acronis and Sourcepass

Acronis International GmbH announced a cyber protection partnership with the New York Islanders, which will be implemented and managed by Sourcepass, Inc., an IT management services firm based in East Northport, NY.

Through this collaborative partnership, the Islanders will have capable cyber backup systems to safeguard data, applications, and systems to optimize data management. They are partnering with Acronis to enable backup of all their digital content to the cloud. This includes all the Islanders’ video and game production content, with archives spanning back 50 years. Use of the cloud for backup will provide greater resilience and be a key part of BC for the Islanders.

Sourcepass will work with the Islanders to implement Acronis Cyber Protect, a machine intelligence (MI) enhanced solution providing data protection reducing downtime. Acronis combines automation and integration to safeguard all workloads while streamlining protection efforts. Its cyber protection provides the safety, accessibility, privacy, authenticity, and security services required to protect the modern sport.

Members of the former NST team will play a key role in this implementation.
