This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on July 25, 2022 at 2:01 pmStorageCraft Technology LLC, an Arcserve LLC company, announced OneXafe Solo, a simple, anytime, anywhere, cloud-based business continuity solution.
OneXafe Solo is a plug-and-play appliance which streams data directly to StorageCraft Cloud Services for BC. It provides enterprise-class protection and recovery at an SMB price point with the simplicity the segment requires. It extends the OneXafe family and makes class BC available to all market segments through a single technology stack.
It provides cloud-based anytime, anywhere data backup, protection, and recovery for SMBs environments with zero upfront cost. With its simple, 2-step deployment process, SMBs and MSPs can protect single tenant and multi-tenant environments within minutes. To deploy, users power on and assign SLAs and RTOs.
OneXafe Solo does not impose a limit on the number of machines it supports and backs up VMs, physical servers, desktops, and laptops. An organization’s entire business continuity setup is managed through a single pane of glass using StorageCraft OneSystem. OneXafe Solo continuously monitors the health and status of the data environment, including reporting and trending of storage capacity, remote replication, SLA-based data protection policies, and RPOs. Through its integration with the firm’s Cloud Services, customers will experience enterprise-class data protection, including VirtualBoot. In the event of failure, including through a ransomware attack, they can instantly recover by virtualizing their machines or entire infrastructure into the cloud. Because the company’s Cloud Services provides an orchestrated one-click failover in the cloud, customers can recover data, files, or their entire infrastructure with speed and simplicity.
The company’s channel partners can standardize on the firm’s technology stack across their data protection business. Since the deployment of OneXafe Solo requires no capital expense and minimal technical support, channel partners can serve small businesses with ease, confidence, and healthy margins. Simple licensing, billing, and reporting through integration with ConnectWise and Autotask business management platforms add to the management and economic benefits of standardizing on StorageCraft business continuity solutions.
Unlike similar alternative offerings, which only support up to 4 machines and are limited by the storage available inside the appliance, OneXafe Solo does not limit the number of machines it supports. Its ability to stream data directly to StorageCraft Cloud Services for DR and its flexible options for local storage delivers rapid data recovery, unprecedented workload flexibility, and scalability for SMBs. As part of the OneXafe family, OneXafe Solo provides a single technology stack for painless and migration to OneXafe and ShadowXafe solutions as an organizations’ data management and protection needs grow.
In early 2020, the company introduced OneXafe 3000 for the SMB market. This upcoming scale-out converged storage solution will unify enterprise-class data protection and scale-out storage for unstructured data with continuous snapshots and ransomware protection in a plug-and-play appliance. OneXafe 3000 will unify on-premises storage, data protection, and cloud-based business continuity, as StorageCraft continues to deliver on its vision for comprehensive data management, scale-out storage, and business continuity solutions.
OneXafe Solo will be available this Fall through major distribution partners. Subscription pricing is less than $100/month per protected machine.
Shridar Subramanian, VP, product management and marketing, StorageCraft, said: “The combination of simple, affordable and enterprise-class business continuity with a seamless growth path has not been available for SMBs. The OneXafe Solo plug-and-play appliance changes this. We are already seeing the excitement and strong demand from channel partners in the OneXafe Solo beta program. They can now serve and grow all segments of their business continuity portfolio with ease and at unprecedented economics, through a single StorageCraft technology stack.”
Travis Vigneau, director, solution partner strategy, ConnectWise LLC, said: “This is going to be highly attractive to MSPs. Instead of relying on building their own solutions to deliver cloud-based business continuity, StorageCraft has given them a simple, graceful solution that is going to be a breeze to manage. The benefit of no upfront cost, single pane of glass management and easy integration to the ConnectWise business management platform all adds to the margin potential.”
