The Rocket 4 Plus Destroyer 2 is built on a HighPoint SSD7540 PCIe Gen4 x16 RAID card featuring a Broadcom PCIe Gen4 8 series PEX switch managing 8 onboard M.2 slots. The card requires additional power via a 6-pin VGA power cable. The SSDs are cooled by an aluminum heat sink with thermal pads and active cooling. This single-slot card is about the length of a high-end graphics card.

With capacities up to a 64TB of storage (with 8×8TB M.2 SSD), the Rocket 4 Plus Destroyer 2 can be configured in various RAID configurations, including RAID-10 for data security or RAID-0 for speed.

The intended use cases for storage solutions like this are for large 12K and 4K video files and editing, and large DL databases and content creators who daily work with large graphic files.

They also work well in high-end workstations or servers that have available x16 PCIe slots. These cards are simply installed into the system, next, install the drivers and bring up the web-based management interface to create your volumes and RAID types. It takes a few minutes. An added plus is the entire card can be moved to a different system with the needed drivers installed and be working in minutes.

The Rocket 4 Plus 8TB SSDs are on sale at Amazon for 25% off discount.
