Boxafe 2.0 enhance its performance but usability for enterprises.
-
Roles and permissions: IT staff can manage thousands of employee SaaS accounts while securing personal data by flexibly designating backup/restore job permissions, such as global admin, domain admin, auditor, and customized user roles.
-
Improved backup management: While previous Boxafe stores backup data in a hidden path in the NAS volumes where Boxafe is installed, upcoming versions support backing up with customized storage paths. It includes backup to local spaces, cloud (via HybridMount), iSCSI, or VJBOD. To ensure data safety, backup data will be kept even if users uninstall Boxafe.
-
Secondary backup for doubled protection: To reduce user effort, Boxafe 2.0 supports secondary backup with Hybrid Backup Sync and the relinking function to existing backup data. DR can be fast by using full data export/restore, allowing users to restore backup data to a single folder by overwriting the original data.
