History (1999): Legato Completes Acquisition of Intelliguard Software

Legato Systems, Inc. has completed the acquisition of Intelliguard Software in Dublin, CA, a designer of Celestra architecture which provides serverless backup for the SAN market, for $46 million.

This is Legato’s third acquisition (after Fulltime Software and Software Moguls) in a bid to reinforce its SAN activity.
