This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on June 1, 2022 at 2:01 pmNebulon, Inc. appointed Paul Brodie as its new VP of global channel sales and promoted Martin Cooper to VP of customer experience.
The partner- and customer-facing appointments come in response to growing OEM partner engagements and customer installations due, in part, to interest in the company’s recently announced 4-minute ransomware recovery solution, Nebulon TimeJump.
Paul Brodie will oversee the company’s efforts to expand its OEM and channel partner-driven business. He brings experience in IT infrastructure channel sales, coming to Nebulon from IT operations management (ITOM) platform vendor OpsRamp where he held the same title and grew the company’s global channel sales operation during the course of the pandemic. Previously, he served as VP of OEM and channel sales at AIO/s platform company Virtana, and before that spent 13 years at Brocade leading various OEM and channel sales teams. He brings more than 25 years’ experience managing partner and channel ecosystems, and growing revenue through multiple routes to market in the IT infrastructure and operations area.
“Nebulon is uniquely positioned to partner with large OEM vendors – Lenovo, Dell, HPE, and Supermicro – and channel partners globally to help enterprises achieve the same cloud velocity, agility, and recovery for their on-premises infrastructure,” he said. “I‘m excited to deepen our partner relationships to help meet the massive demand from enterprises of all sizes for a better way to deploy on-premises application infrastructure around the globe.”
After years in customer-centric roles, Martin Cooper will lead an end-to-end technical go-to-market and customer satisfaction function as VP of customer experience. In his new position, he will help drive new OEM partner-led customer acquisition, develop post-transaction services and enhancements, and lead the overall support of existing clients. As an experienced technology executive with an international background, he built and led Nebulon’s first global solution architect team. He held a similar role at a service provider-focused IT vendor SolidFire. After NetApp’s SolidFire acquisition, he eventually led the entire EMEA solution engineering organisation for NetApp. He has also held a variety of IT roles, including CTO and global IT operations director for London, UK-based design consultancy Arup.
“End-to-end customer experience is priority #1 for our team at Nebulon and that starts with being able to successfully deliver on our promise to bring the public cloud experience to hybrid and on-premises environments,” he said. “With the introduction of our 4-minute ransomware recovery solution, we not only deliver the efficiency and simplicity of the public cloud on-premises, but do so with an added focus on cyber resilience.”
