History (1998) Seagate to Increase Investment in HDD Plant in Wuxi, China

Seagate Technology intends to increase its investment in its HDD plant in Wuxi, China, for the next 3 to 5 years, bringing its total investment to $120 million.

Meanwhile, the company could sell its $70 million disk head facility in the Cebu province, in the Philippines.
