Formerly corporate VP and GM of the storage business unit at Micron and replacing Herb Hunt becoming executive chair of the board

Derek Dicker, currently an independent Nyriad board member, will assume the role of CEO.
Current CEO and Board Member, Herb Hunt, will become executive chair of the board.
Current board chair and lead investor, Guy Haddleton, will remain on the board to represent the company’s New Zealand investors.
Hunt joined Nyriad as CEO in October 2020 as the company completed a funding round from existing shareholders. Under his leadership, the company migrated to the USA, strengthened its leadership, and developed its first product.
Dicker is a technology executive with more than 25 years of industry experience leading organizations that span pre-revenue “intrapreneurial” start-ups to multi-billion-dollar businesses. Most recently, he served as corporate VP and GM of the storage business unit at Micron where he was responsible for building storage products based on Micron’s nonvolatile memory technology. Prior to that, he served in management and executive level roles at Intel, integrated device technology, and PMC-Sierra (acquired by Microsemi Corporation).
