IBM Storage Suite for Cloud Paks 1.1.2

Storage Suite for Cloud Paks is a single-priced product identifier that contains the following IBM Storage and Red Hat offerings:

• Spectrum Scale Data Management Edition
• Spectrum Virtualize for Public Cloud
• Cloud Object Storage System
• Spectrum Discover
• Red Hat OpenShift Container Storage
• Red Hat Ceph Storage

Storage Suite for Cloud Paks is a single software license that entitles you to use a combination of these product capabilities with flat cost per virtual processor core (VPC) licensing.

Based on the storage requirements in your environment, it has 2 options for capacity; Standard Edition and Capacity Edition. Standard Edition delivers up to 2TB of storage capacity per VPC licensed, and Capacity Edition delivers up to 20TB of storage capacity per VPC licensed.

Storage Suite for Cloud Paks is available in Passport Advantage, ESW, and AAS.

Key requirements
Storage Suite for Cloud Paks requires:

  • Cloud Pak for Network Automation
  • Cloud Pak for Security
  • Cloud Pak for Watson AIO/s
• Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 4.2, or later
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7

In order to use Spectrum Virtualize for Public Cloud through Storage Suite for Cloud Paks, there is a co-requirement to enable Spectrum Virtualize for Public Cloud capacity in Storage Suite by ordering the following one-time part number available in Passport Advantage: D27KFLL- Enable SV for Cloud Per Storage Device LIC + SW S&S 12 MO.
