STT WebOS Assigned Patent

STT WebOS, Inc., Fremont, CA, has been assigned a patent (11,178,234) developed by Tsao, Sheng Tai, Fremont, CA, for “method and apparatus for web based storage on-demand distribution.“

The abstract of the patent published by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office states: “The distributed virtual SAN infrastructure of this invention provides a scalable dynamically expandable virtual storage volume service pool, which can satisfy the needs for storage on-demand application such as provide user access a specific size storage volume and can satisfy the needs for centralized operation of the storage servers verses traditional operation for storage system. Specially with web-based multitasking support, the accessing and operation of the storage system can be made much more efficient.”
