History (1998): Lot of Companies Partnering With TeraStor

TeraStor continues to score partnership agreements prior to the release of its Near Field Recording drive, expected sometime this year.

Japanese firms Maxell and Tosoh signed on to develop and manufacture the surface magneto-optical media, like Imation before them.

For its part, Overland Data will incorporate TeraStor media cartridges in its automated libraries, and joins the long list of library makers that offer to do the same (ATL, DISC, Exabyte, Plasmon, Spectra Logic).
