Ranked 34th among the world's electronic firms in 1996

In terms of revenue, Seagate Technology ranked 34th among the world’s electronic firms in 1996, just after Microsoft (30th) and Apple Computer (33rd}, and ahead of Sun Microsystems (37th}, Sanyo Electric (39th) and NCR (42nd).

Quantum is 60th on the list, Western Digital 74th.
