9th Edition of Storage Unicorn Report in June 2021

Now 15 vendors in list including 2 new players, OwnBackup and Wasabi

Coldago Research, a storage and data management research and analysis firm, released its bi-annual storage unicorn report with 15 companies representing the 9th edition.

A unicorn is a private company with a $1 billion valuation minimum. Coldago chose to include companies belonging to private equity firms. It also realizes that some of them will reach the Decacorn category soon if their trajectory continues to be the same.

Two new players join the club for this June 2021 edition: OwnBackup and Wasabi Technologies.

The 15 companies in alphabetic order are : Acronis, Barracuda Networks, Cohesity, DDN, Druva, Infinidat, Kaseya, Nasuni, OwnBackup, Qumulo, Rubrik, VAST Data, Veeam Software, Veritas Technologies and Wasabi Technologies.
