History (1996): Seagate Purchased Calypso Software for $13 Million

Yet again: Seagate Technology has purchased a new software company, Calypso Software for $13 million in cash.

The latest acquisition, a firm of 30 employees located in Manchester, NH, is a developer of software for managing systems and applications in complex client/server networks.

Calypso will integrate Seagate Enterprise Management West.
