To deliver industry storage services via HPE GreenLake cloud platform
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on July 2, 2021 at 2:30 pmSNP Poland Sp. z o.o, a SAP services provider, is expanding its customer offerings thanks to advanced storage services from Hewlett Packard Enterprise Development LP.
The new capabilities, delivered through HPE GreenLake edge to cloud platform, will allow SNP Poland to enhance its built-in high storage availability while ensuring BC and non-disruptive operations for its European customers by implementing a MetroCluster solution based on HPE Primera, for mission-critical storage.
SNP Poland provides a range of implementations, development and maintenance of SAP systems. It also provides IT security and software development services. Employing over 400 people, it has nearly 2,000 completed SAP and other IT projects. The company was founded in 1995 and is part of SNP Schneider-Neureither & Partner SE (SNP Group) – a provider of solutions for the transformation of SAP environments.
To further enhance its offering and reduce time to market for managed SAP services, SNP Poland chose Primera, an intelligent storage for missions-critical applications, to be installed in two of its data centers to deliver superior simplicity and enhanced data protection and availability. Powered by the intelligence of HPE Infosight predictive analytics embedded into Primera, HPE will help the company eliminate any unforeseen disruptions by helping to ensure a secure, always-on and agile data environment for SNP’s customers.
Additionally, the GreenLake cloud platform will enable SNP Poland to respond to changing customer needs and accelerate time to value for new and expanded service offerings.
“We want to invest in technology innovation to deliver the highest quality services to our customers. With HPE, we know we have a reliable technology partner that can support us in delivering the most advanced solutions to the market,” said Michał Strzyżewski, IT manager, SNP Poland. “HPE’s unique as-a-service offering, HPE GreenLake cloud platform, helps us to simplify management and operations, save costs and scale IT infrastructure while developing and growing our SAP Managed Services business.”
The GreenLake cloud platform benefits SNP with operational efficiencies and a pay per usage contract. Being able to scale up its IT infrastructure means the company can retain its financial flexibility, preserve cash flow, control spend, and reduce the cost of over-provisioning which is critical for service providers. Furthermore, GreenLake Central provides SNP with a platform to manage costs, utilization, compliance, and security across its entire multi-cloud estate – through a single pane of glass. This brings the complete cloud experience to the SNP’s data centers and simplifies the management of the entire operational cycle.
“Organizations like SNP Poland see huge benefits from adopting the HPE GreenLake cloud platform, allowing them to grow their business with financial flexibility and little upfront investment,” said Jacek Szoka, HPE Pointnext GreenLake sales lead, HPE. “Our collaboration with SNP Poland further enhances our global partner ecosystem for HPE GreenLake and provides our customers with more choices for their different applications and workloads.“
The GreenLake edge to cloud platform provides customers with a foundation to drive digital transformation through an elastic as-a-service offering that can run on premises, at the edge, or in a colocation facility. The GreenLake cloud platform combines simplicity and agility with the governance, compliance, and visibility that comes with hybrid IT. It offers a range of cloud services that accelerate innovation, including cloud services for bare metal, compute, container management, core payment systems, data protection, electronic medical records, 5G, HCI, ML operations, networking, risk management, SAP HANA, storage, VDI, and VMs.
